WHAT IS IT?

Marketing

Marketing

Marketing is a very broad activity, but we believe we can simplify this process and explain how you should use marketing in your favor. The term Marketing refers to the activities that a company develops to relate and get closer to its target audience, usually with the aim of creating better relationships with customers, promote products and/or services, and thus increase sales and add value to your company or brand.

To conduct a marketing campaign, first we have to define our target audience. Will our campaign be B2B or B2C? B2B stands for Business to Business, it is a campaign directed at companies. B2C, on the other hand, stands for Business to Consumer,the target audience will be the final personal customer.

Regardless of being a product or service, marketing involves a mix of factors that predefine analysis; the original mix is known as the four P's - product, price, promotion, and place. Additionally, we can analyze three more P's: the people, the process, and the physical evidence. Each of these factors gives insight into how to target specific marketing efforts for each product or service in order to add value to the brand.

In addition to Marketing-Mix, Marketing is divided into several segments and for us, the most relevant are:

Marketing Research

Marketing Research connects the consumer, the company and the people to the market through information. This means that through the information obtained through various insights, market opportunities and trends are identified so that brands can establish themselves more quickly;

Institutional Marketing

In general, all companies have the desire to promote their brand, to make it stronger in the market and in the mind of the target audience. For this, it is necessary that each company creates a set of marketing actions that fulfill the goal of creating a solid image and notoriety;

Integrated Marketing

The goal is to create an omnichannel strategy that includes all the necessary communication to reach the customer and thus bring profit through products and services. If the P's of the Marketing Mix are in balance, it will be much easier to achieve this goal;

Internal Marketing

This segment of marketing refers to the internal strategy of the company directed to its stakeholders, it is perhaps one of the main marketing strategies and is fundamental for a solid company, because each employee tells his or her story;

Continuation of the Concepts...

Keyword Marketing

Keyword Marketing is the use of the keywords, or specific phrases, most searched for by the consumer when looking for a particular product or service. Thus, the search is made easier when the terms related to that service or product are searched in the search engines;

Outbound Marketing / Traditional Marketing

Outbound marketing represents the traditional marketing that we are used to. Basically, these are the more traditional actions and strategies such as TV or radio ads, website banners, or even billboard, muppis, and poster advertising that work in the short term;

Inbound Marketing / Permission Marketing

With this style of marketing, instead of the company making contact with customers, companies expect customers to give permission for communication. In other words, this method relies on the consumer having a desire or need to be contacted by the company;

Content Marketing

Content marketing is of great importance for organic traffic growth, i.e. growth in digital, whether on social media, through the website or ads on online platforms. This style does not focus on the product or service, but rather on providing value to customers. The goal is to create positive connections, through content in the minds of the target audience- making a memorable connection so that when the customer needs the product or service, they will remember your specific company.

In conclusion, in the current times when certain sectors and businesses survive only with their digital presence but there has to be a consensus among all and it has to make sense to use each one for the overall campaign to make sense, our advice is: think hard about your marketing strategy, what you are doing and what you can improve. If you don't use marketing tools yet, it is never too late to start!
