Odyssea

The ODYSSEA Blue Heritage project is a shining example of cross-border cooperation with an ambitious goal: to create a common ecotourism model that leverages the best European practices to enhance the economic potential and promote the sustainable use of the cultural and natural heritage of coastal, maritime, and rural territories. This initiative brought together the Consejería de Turismo y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía, the Diputación de Huelva, the RTA, and the Municipalities of Faro, Lagos, Vila do Bispo, and Mértola on a shared mission: to valorize these coastal cities as excellent destinations, capitalizing on the rich identity of the territory and its historical-cultural, material, immaterial, archaeological, and natural heritage as the foundation for economic development under the common brand Odyssea.

Blue Heritage

This project was an inspiring challenge for our creative team. What initially started as a statue evolved into an interactive and intuitive plaque. The descriptive video turned into five descriptive videos with voiceovers in three languages. And the initial idea of a simple landing page expanded into a website and a mobile platform. Why? Because we understood that the project should evolve according to market needs, the target audience, and, of course, the project's goals.

The interactive plaque installed at the Portas do Mar docks, also known as Cais da Porta Nova, is a tangible example of our work. It includes a description of the ODYSSEA project, a map of the islands with QR codes for access to informative videos in three languages, and the visual identity of the Iberian project.

The produced videos cover various topics, from promoting the islands and tourism to Ria Formosa, local cuisine, culture, and fishing. Each production was meticulously planned, with detailed studies of each island to ensure that the content was informative and engaging.

In summary, ODYSSEA Blue Heritage is more than just a project; it's a celebration of the cultural and natural richness of the partner coastal cities. We are proud to have been an integral part of this joint effort and are excited to continue creating unique experiences that promote and preserve our historical and natural heritage and connect the public with the beauty of these special places.
